Academic Calendar of Medical Colleges in Bangladesh
The BMDC-prescribed MBBS program follows a yearly academic calendar with structured teaching and examinations.

Teaching Period: 36–40 weeks per year (excluding vacations and examinations).

Examinations: Professional examinations are conducted at the end of each phase.

Vacations: Summer, Winter, and Eid holidays.

Class Hours: Average 30–36 hours per week, including lectures, tutorials,
laboratory work, and clinical rotations.
